Condover Hall 2025
Update 2: ETA - approximately 20:25
Update 1: We have stopped at Chorley services; we had some snacks, used the toilets and stretched our legs. We are now back on the road. The ETA is going to be after 8pm. I'll have a more detailed time once we are on the A14.
We are on our way home!
The ETA is 7:50pm without a stop. We will be stopping to use the toilet and have a snack so I will update the ETA after we have stopped and get moving again.
Our coach has been delayed due to a road closure after an incident and the driver has had to re-route.
Once we are on our way home, I will update this page with an estimated ETA.
The centre are looking after us still and all children are safe and having fun playing a little more in the sun.
We are very lucky and the centre have sorted out some instructors to allow us to have another go on the climbing wall whilst we wait for the coach.

Another exciting day for us all at Condover Hall. Each group will be abseiling, playing in the laser tag area for conquest, becoming real-life Robin Hood's and Katniss Everdeen's learning to shoot a bow and arrow in archery and learning some fun and catchy dances in dance mania.

Wednesday 21st May 2025
We were all grateful for a slightly later breakfast and a bit longer in bed this morning. We have written letters home and they have been posted this morning.
All groups will be kayaking, exploring the low ropes course, using their initiative with some initiative exercises and testing their nerve on the trapeze jump.
We have been to the shop today. All the children practiced adding up what they were planning to buy to check they had enough money, counting out the right amount of money and using excellent manners with the shop assistant.
The shop keepers told us afterwards that the children were very polite and the best group they had had in the shop so far this residential season!

Everyone slept well (eventually!). We are up bright and early to have breakfast today. Fuelling ready for the activities this morning.
A great set of activities for all groups today: buggy building, multi vines, tunneling and fencing.

Monday 19th May 2025
We are off! Thanks to all the parents, staff and other children for waving us off.
We are all very excited for the week ahead of us.
We have arrived safely!
We were quickly shown to our rooms and then straight into our first activities: climbing and aerial trek.

We have had dinner and are now onto our evening activity: Run Around Quiz. We have to stay connected to a hoop, move around the site and find answers to questions. The group with the most points wins.
